Dancing Toward the Yellow Brick Road

The Muncie Ballet offers a variety of class programs with price options for all levels of interest and ability. Classes are offered for children aged two and up and allow dancers to participate in a non-competitive, fun, and challenging environment. The Muncie Ballet is a non-profit organization that offers tuition assistance and promotes classical music and dance through community classes. The studio puts on several community performances each semester and offers a summer dance program. They are currently working on their production of The Wizard of Oz which will open Thursday, May 19th at 7 p.m. with another performance Saturday, May 21st at 1 and 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Center for the Arts at 520 East Main Street in Muncie, Indiana.  Photos by Amber Pietz and Jamie Howell

Scouting for Food

Boy Scouts from Troop 22 in Muncie deliver donated food to Center Chapel United Methodist Church on April 9, 2022. The scouts dropped off empty bags at houses with instructions for donors to fill them with excess food items. Then they walked through the neighborhood again and picked up the full bags.
