Fairy Tail Endings at Muncie Animal Rescue Fund

Many may think that Muncie Animal Rescue Fund is just a shelter. It is much more than that; they also value interpersonal connections and prioritize animal well-being.

ARF gave us the opportunity to speak with their Business Administrator Supervisor, Debi Stephens. Debi was able to share a story of a past adoptee, Rozzi Jo. Rebecca White had come into ARF after her prior pet, Charlie Magoo, had passed away. That’s where she met Roz. She knew right away that Roz was the dog for her. Unfortunately, Roz was in line to be adopted, but 30 minutes prior to that, the person had called to back out. Rebecca took that opportunity and adopted Roz immediately. Since the adoption, Rebecca stops by every year on the adoption anniversary and on Rozzi Jo’s birthday to bring treats.

Working with ARF allowed us to hear the story of the under-construction Catty Shack. Debi Stephens informed us of the plans for the shack, including the individually themed rooms and other details that are to be kept under wraps for now. The catty shack is expected to be opened before the end of April or in May. We had the opportunity to work with Shelby, an ARF worker of four years who assists with cat maintenance and cleaning. She also helps with vaccination and adoption events. (Photos by Emmely Candelaria and Jenny Wadeson
